I enjoy exploring knowledge about energies and besides other processes that are available to balance our own energy field, I also use art to integrate it. This creative period is devoted to getting to know and connect to feminine energy more.
Each person, no matter what gender, has both energies, the feminine and the masculine. Feminine energy is all about CREATIVITY through which we need to express our feelings. Masculine energy is about structure, formation and BUILDING. Each type of the energy serves us for something in our life, feminine energy can be described with words creation, renewal, healing, openess, receptivity, wisdom, forgiveness, love, nurture, insight, intuition, connection, harmony… Masculine is action, direction, movement, responsibility, strength, focus, generosity, clarity, intellect, encouragement…If we have both energies balanced, we experience harmony within ourselves and also with our partners. But that can be challenging in the modern world, where everything is more or less mind oriented and more than co-creation, team playing, we experience individualism, dominance and rivalry. The consequence of this lifestyle forces the women starting to step into masculine energy more and disconnecting to our true nature. One very approachable way of stepping more into feminine energy is making art, so this was a perfect merging of the subject I wanted to paint and the painting itself.
The “Womb” painting represents rebirthing our inner feminine. I started with white textured canvas and colours that support the feminine energy the most – red, pink and purple. Then I collected all the words that describe the feminine energy and wrote them on the paper. Those words became a part of the painting, I glued them on the surface and painted over the next layer. I felt like making many wavy lines reminding me of the river, which represents the female nature of surrender, flow and yielding. After that, I added some flowers as an expression of beauty through which women encourage inspiration in men. I started to paint the wavy lines and in the middle, I got this blank space which reminded me of a female body and I started to shape it into recognizable form.
I didn’t plan how the painting will look like, my intention was to embody the feminine energy through art and I followed each small idea that came to me during the process until the painting revealed to me by itself.
