Life is. Many things happen to us, both good and bad. Art has a comforting and healing effect on me. I am able to pour my feelings onto the canvas, so they became bearable or multiplied into even more good, and most of the time they unsuspectingly transform into something other than I initially expect.

Many people think that if you have talent, it’s always easy for you, and ideas just fly. It’s not always like that. Painting is not always easy, because inspiration comes in periods, which are often related to what we experience and cannot be forced or controlled. As I change, so does what I create. There are periods when the art is darker, there are times when colors are bright and uplifting. Each serves its purpose. I see the canvas as a journey into myself and a training ground for practicing aspects of you you want to develop.
